Meet the Teacher

Now you can put a face to the name!
This is my beautiful family. Our daughters are 5 (going to first grade) and 13 (going to 9th grade)...where did the time go!?

Before...
Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to become a teacher, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to teach lower or upper grades. When my daughter was 2 (now 13 years old and starting high school in the fall) I took the classes I needed to be able to teach preschool age students and be with her. She is going into high school and I am still teaching Pre-Kindergarten, I just love it!

I earned my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix, and a dual undergrad degrees in Human Services and Management. I like to think of myself as a well-rounded educator and administrator, I have had opportunities to teach students above and below their academic and grade level, as well students with learning challenges. My daily commitment with each one of my students is to promote respect, a positive and engaging learning environment, and embrace and celebrate the cultural diversity and uniqueness.

Now...
After teaching and managing private schools for 9 years, I decided to take a leap and teach in the public school system. I was lucky enough to be hired after my very first interview in an amazing school! The change has been so amazing! I have learned and grew so much as well, it's incredible.

I am so grateful to be a teacher and to get to interact with students and their families on a daily basis.

Future...
One of my goals is for my students to become productive citizens of our community, to reach their full potential in life and become lifelong learners. Another important goal  for my students is to develop critical thinkers and individuals who can make rational decisions throughout their lives.

Keep learning my friends!

  2. Your interpersonal limits along with commitments are generally an excessive amount of that men and women do not have time or perhaps self-confidence to go Gays4Gals out and about and pay attention to somebody. It really is true in the event of gays.
